Bobcats Acquire Former Oil Barons Forward

The Lloydminster Bobcats continued their busy offseason by acquiring forward Nathan Carl (2000) from the Swan Valley Stampeders (MJHL) in exchange for defenseman Ryan Nause (2001) and forward Alex Danis (2001).
Carl played 60 games in Swan Valley after being brought in from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons early last season. In those 60 games, the Sherwood Park native showcased his offensive abilities scoring 23 goals and 46 points in his second season of junior hockey.
In Fort McMurray, he was limited to a bottom-six role and never got the chance to shine. Carl played 57 games for the Oil Barons and scored seven goals and 12 points during that time.
Going the other way, Lloydminster sent Nause and Danis who were both entering their second year in Lloydminster.
Nause dressed in 48 games scoring five assists, while Danis was finished with five goals and 12 points in 48 contests.
